Privacy Policy

CaptureNote Web is a cloud-based tool that turns images into structured notes. This policy explains what we process when you use the website. The iPhone app is a separate, local-first product with its own privacy disclosures.
What we process
- Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers supplied by Google when you choose Google Sign-In and handled by CaptureNote's dedicated Supabase Auth project.
- Uploaded images: an image you choose to send for one AI note-generation request.
- Generated content: the title, summary, key points, terms, and Markdown returned by the model.
- Usage data: credit balance, request status, token usage, and technical error information handled by LLMGate.
How images are used
An uploaded image is resized in your browser and sent to the selected multimodal model through LLMGate. We do not use your image or generated note to train a model. We do not sell uploaded content. Web processing is not equivalent to the iPhone app’s offline mode, so do not upload information that must remain entirely on your device.
Retention and deletion
Images are used for the processing request and should not be retained longer than needed for delivery and abuse prevention. Account and credit ledger records are retained as needed to operate the service, prevent fraud, and meet accounting requirements. You can request account deletion by contacting us.
Service providers
Google provides the optional sign-in flow. A dedicated CaptureNote Supabase project provides authentication and account infrastructure, isolated from our other products. LLMGate verifies the CaptureNote-issued session, routes requests to the configured AI providers, and records credit metering. We only enable providers that have been reviewed for this use case.
Your choices
You may stop using the Web service, request deletion, or use the CaptureNote iPhone app for local-only processing. You can contact us at icubic3@gmail.com.
